3. Accounts and usernames

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account. Usernames and bio page slugs must not infringe third-party rights or impersonate others.

We may reclaim or disable usernames that are inactive, misleading, or reserved for platform use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Distribute malware, phishing pages, illegal content, or deceptive redirects.
• Send spam or violate anti-abuse laws.
• Interfere with platform security, rate limits, or other users.

5. Plans, limits, and billing

Feature limits depend on your active plan. We may change plan pricing or features with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance unless you cancel.

Payments are handled by approved processors. Taxes may apply based on your location.

6. Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate the service.

bit-ly.me trademarks, software, and branding remain our property.

7. Analytics and short links

We may count clicks, scans, and engagement events to provide analytics. Redirect behavior may be modified to enforce security, plan limits, or legal compliance.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk to the platform or other users.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, except where prohibited by law.
